Brake Cable
A motorcycle brake cable is a flexible cable, usually made of steel, that transmits the mechanical force from the brake lever or pedal to the brake pads or discs. In this way, when you squeeze the brake lever or press the brake pedal, the brake system is activated and reduces the speed of the motorcycle or stops it.
What is the Use of a Motorcycle Brake Cable?
Force transmission: When the brake lever or pedal is pressed, this force is transmitted to the brake pads or drums via the brake cable, thus applying pressure to the wheel and stopping the motorcycle.
Safe braking: A motorcycle brake cable helps the rider stop the motorcycle safely and in a controlled manner. The flexibility and durability of the cable provide quick response in sudden braking.
Brake sensitivity: A quality brake cable increases the sensitivity during the braking process, which improves the rider's control over the motorcycle. Safe braking is provided, especially in heavy traffic or difficult road conditions.
